What do you need to take this exam:
1. ISTQB foundation level certification
2. At least 3 years of experience as a Software Tester, preferrably as a Test Leader or a Test Manager
3. Preferrably a training before trying to take the exam
Standards:
1. Standard glossary of terms used in Software Testing
2. Foundation level syllabus (mandatory for Advanced level)
3. Advanced level syllabus

Besides these standards, very useful are:
1. Rex Black's book: 'ISTQB Advanced Test Manager'. This book can be found, for example on Amazon
2. You also need other standards like: ISO 9126, IEEE 1028, British Testing Std - Component Testing, IEEE 829
